1.  ARC is a non-profit project of the Australian Bookselling and Publishing industries in association The Fred Hollows Foundation and Ian Thorpe's Fountain for youth Trust.  The Australian Readers' Challenge website (www.readerschallenge.com.au) is owned and operated by Riverbend Books (ABN 92 097 885 973, QLD BN19729868).  Riverbend Books operates this website under the guidance of the steering committee of the Australian Readers' Challenge (ARC). 

2. These terms and conditions govern your use of this website.  By accessing this website you agree to observe these terms and conditions.

3. ARC and Riverbend Books do not warrant, guarantee or make any representations as to the content or suitablility of the information on this website for any purpose.

4. While ARC and Riverbend make a good faith effort to ensure that the information on the website is free from error, we can not accept any responsibilty for any errors or omissions in the information on this website. 

Copyright material
5. This website includes material, text and images, that is protected by Australian copyright, trademark and other intellectual property laws.  In particular the booklist title annotations and cover images are used under license from Thorpe-Bowker.

Paying for your ARC registration
6. This website provides a secure mechanism for payment of ARC registration money.  Please see our privacy statement which details the technologies used to protect your personal and credit card information.  If you would like to participate in ARC but do not feel comfortable paying online please feel free to contact any of the registered ARC Bookshops.

Refund of ARC registrations
7. ARC registration payments are donated wholly to The Fred Hollows Foundation to support their Indigenous literacy programs.  Generally you are not entitled to a refund for your registration payment for the reason that you were not able to complete the requirements of ARC (i.e. reading ten books before the ARC closing deadline).  Please feel free to contact ARC at info@readerschallenge.com.au or by writing to The ARC Website Manager, Riverbend Books, 193 Oxford St, Bulimba Qld 4171 if you need to discuss a particular refund issue.
